Clams Casino chops Lana Del Rey’s Born To Die in pieces, as if she’s singing the song while slowly dying, in particular during the final minute. Woodkid gives it a baroq’esque vibe that fits the song surprisingly well with these perfect-timed drums (kind of balearic in a way), creating an image in my head where Del Rey reigns her kingdom on her throne and sends out her army to battle her haters, which fits the video he directed for the song.
