Stubborn Heart combine all things electronica with something soft and melancholic - clattering beats, exciting rhythms and a falsetto, things like that always win us over, especially if combined. These guys have been around for quite some time already but only seem to get the much-deserved attention now thanks to their epynomous debut album that was released yesterday via One Little Indian.
Think Sampha, think SBTRKT, think James Blake (leaning towards his earlier material and the remixes as Harmonimix) - their music is tagged as “Electronic Soul Music” for a reason. Album closer Need Someone sums it up perfectly, but if you feel like diving into this electronic soul-bath we have a full visual album stream available below as well.
