Nicolas Jaar’s latest track The Ego is quite different from the songs on the brilliant Space Is Only Noise - it’s not as delicate nor cautious, yet quite the late-night/early-morning weird club jam we’d most definitely zone out to. He does stay (sort of) faithful to his succesful use of samples in his music , as he lets Teddy Roosevelt’s ghost make some statements about economics. While the theme may seem serious, The Ego is a very smooth and light-hearted track.
