Producers are becoming more and more important - big names in hip-hop got big with help from respected producers, but in pop music people are starting to pay more attention to who is behind the music apart from the singer. Time to put a new producer in the spotlight, and for once it’s not a boy.
Meet Dahlia Black, a young producer from of Hinesville, Georgia. Describes her music as “reaching for a point of conversion” where music unifies” while she pulls inspiration from every genre. Her pieces lean towards a soft side of r&b with elements of pop. We can’t help but think of early Frank Ocean demo’s when we hear her jams and are eager to find out wether she can sing too - if not, we’d very much want someone to sing over these beats. Some below, head over to her Reverbnation profile for more.
