Releasing a track on Christmas eve is always a bit edgy, but in this particular case we couldn’t have thought of a better moment. Howl’s new track Lost In The Snow carries on where he left off with his most recent EP Hart, that grey voice of his drenched in a cosy lo-fi and ambient guitar sound (really reminding us of King Krule this time around). The video is cut footage of clips Howl has taken of friends over the last year and a half, which fit the track like a charm. Be sure to give his cover of Björk’s Venus As A Boy a spin as well, in which he pays true tribute to the experimental side of the song with his own layered take on the classic.
