Indians is the musical alter ego of Copenhagen resident Søren Løkke Juul, who mixes a series of influences in his music and comes out with a slightly psychedelic potpourri of pure bliss. After self-releasing his debut single Magic Kids, 4AD caught onto him and signed him to release his debut record Somewhere Else.
We have listened to Indians in the past and thought it was quite nice. We have seen that 4AD session and thought it was quite nice. We just never really got their music, if you know what we mean. But oh boy, that “quite” bit completely changed after we heard Somewhere Else. It’s something quite extraordinary and special - we put it on with zero to few expectations, but it didn’t take long before we got completely sucked into their sweet sweet world and fell in love the record.
We suggest you join in on the “oh my Indians are amazing”-feeling and give Somewhere Else a play below. Give it some time to sink in (although that won’t take long) and appreciate the mesmerizing beauty that it is. Absolutely sure you’ll love it - we do.
