We all know singer-songwriter Sam Smith from his vocals on Disclosure’s excellent jam Latch - today he unveils his first own song, which is something quite different from Latch yet definitely as exquisite. Backed with nothing but a piano, Lay Me Down is pure gold - the emotional kind. We are wondering what direction Sam Smith will go in now - electronic or acoustically, we are absolutely sure he will make it anyway.
