Marit Östberg directed quite the piece for The Knife’s first outtake from Shaking The Habitual, the energetic Full of Fire. It features both Karin and Olof, plus a series of other people of which some already made an appearance in former videos (like Kari Sylwan, who appeared in the video for Fever Ray’s Seven).
The themes in the video make more sense if you know the story behind director. Marit Östberg has produced Dirty Diaries, a collection of Swedish feminist porn (of which some were soundtracked by Fever Ray). She’s not afraid of NSFW-themes, something that’s clearly showing in the video for Full of Fire. Read more about it over at The Knife’s website and watch it above.
