We got very excited about Washington, DC-duo GEMS a while ago due to two touching, beautiful dream pop gems (pun intended). The boy-girl duo have been busy recording more music for the past few months and today we premiere a first taste of more to come. Pegasus departs where Void Moon and All I Ever left off, showcasing the duo’s ear for moody dream pop. “I can’t turn away right away now, while everything we build falls down” sings Lindsay, sometimes joined by her male counterpart Clifford to balance things. Soft, romantic and cinematic dream pop - GEMS have got it sorted.
