introducing: Kwabs

Kwabs is a new London singer that recently spent some time in the studio with The Invisible’s Dave Okumu (most known for his recent work with Jessie Ware), a collaboration of which the first track Spirit Fade was unveiled last night. His voice is deep and hollow, yet so very soulful at the same time - combine that with a sparse, intriguing production and you’ve got yourselves a gem. Spirit Fade plus three session videos of a session he did late last year performing Getaway, Lay Back and a cover of James Blake’s The Wilhelm Scream make us anxious to hear more from Kwabs, hopefully very soon.
