SXSW invited me to take part in the 'Indie' panel of their Deep Dive Series which involved a series of music industry professionals (Jordan Wolowitz (Founders Entertainment), Julia Willinger (VP of A&R at Mom+Pop) and Alisa Preisler (Agent at Ground Control Touring)) (and myself) performing an in depth analysis of specially curated songs, hand picked by SXSW programmer Stacey Wilhelm.

I was asked to take part in a panel discussion moderated by Tom Peeters (De Tijd) along with Ted Gioia (American jazz critic and music historian) and Si Hawkins (Clash).

"What is the future of music journalism? Can it still have a decisive impact and serve as gatekeeper? What will be its role in new mass media?"
