CREEP, the duo of Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard, has been quite silent the past year, but they’re just in time to drop a new single 2012. As usual the girls provide the beats and invite vocalists to sing some words - in the past they’ve worked with Romy Madley Croft (The xx), Holly Miranda and Nina Sky - Call Her they team up with Tricky and Alejandra de la Deheza (School of Seven Bells). Call Her is a futuristic, post-witch house (it’s 2012, we can speak of post-witch house by now) ghostly track and fits perfectly with the stuff they previously released.

Just like Days (featuring Romy xx) and You (featuring Nina Sky), CREEP's third single features a guest vocalist. Holly Miranda is responsible for the eerie vocals on the duo’s new single Animals, another very fine piece of electronic witchcraft. The video for Animals was directed by Greko Sklavounos. Future CREEP guest vocalists include Sia and Grimes.

CREEP add their own dark & spectral twist to Azari & III's latest single Manic, one of the (many) highlights of the duo’s self-titled (and available) debut.

Planningtorock warps the upbeat CREEP x Nina Sky collab You into this thing which is like, exactly what I expected. She makes Nina Sky sound like autotuned dragqueen zombies and the “r&b meets dubstep” sound has evolved into this unsettling death chant. PTR is also featured on a track the Lauren-Lauren duo did, look forward to hear what became of that.

As if Planningtorock's eerie Doorway isn’t scary enough yet, the grrrl duo CREEP takes it to a haunted level. Look out for her sophomore effort W on May 16, will certainly give you (enjoyable) nightmares.
