Miike Snow have opened a Scavenger Hunt for the perfect human – if you find all ten pieces, scattered around the web, you’ll get access to an exclusive remix plus have a shot at winning an exclusive Miike Snow package (which holds a poster, a mug, a vinyl and a jackalope). Start searching the web for all ten pieces of the puzzle… you might be closer to one than you’d think.
Happy To You is out now; get your copy on iTunes. In case you missed it last week, here’s the video for The Wave, the latest installment in Miike Snow’s ongoing Jean Noel saga.
Miike Snow recruited one of my favorite Swedish songstresses Lykke Li to do a verse on Black Tin Box, another song taken from their forthcoming Happy To You.
The new Miike Snow full-length Happy To You is expected to be released in the week of March 26; we already heard the dramaticDevil’s Work and here’s the new single Paddling Out. Below you can watch a teaser for Birth To Death, which has M83’s Midnight City screams in it (kind of).
Miike Snow plan on releasing a new full-length next year; a first taste of that record, Devil’s Work, just went live. It’s quite heavy (almost dramatic) on the piano and there’s even a horn half-way, but it’s unmistakenly Miike Snow.
